Food

What food do you bring with you on the off road trips, like the local favorits.
As for me I live just west of Boston MA. (Grafton) but I bring smoked Salmon all the time since I grew up in the Pacific Northwest and I know how good Salmon is and how nutritious it is and very very tasty.

  • Even though it's an older post, sharing food ideas for off-road trips is always fun. Smoked salmon is a classic choice, especially for its flavor and nutrition.
When I go off-road near Boston, I tend to pack things like hearty sandwiches with local deli meats and cheeses, or maybe some homemade trail mix for snacking. And for drinks, I always have a mix of water and something like powdered milk for coffee or tea – it’s surprisingly handy.
For anyone looking for where to buy powdered milk, I’ve found some good options online and at local grocery stores here https://www.znaturalfoods.com/products/whole-milk-powder . It’s great for keeping things light and easy on the go.
  • What other regional foods do you like to bring along on your adventures as of now?
