Her formal training was in fashion, and she has collaborated internationally with labels including Louis Vuitton, Versace, H&M, Mulberry, MAC and Melissa, as well as musicians Primal Scream, Graham Coxon and Fisherspooner. In 2002 she launched her fashion label Gibo by Julie Verhoeven. She has exhibited internationally since 2002, with solo shows in London, The Netherlands, Brussels and Cologne.
